Front Street Productions has evolved. New name, new company. Same people who have been bringing Jackson Hole, Wyoming great music for over six years.

Dom Gagliardi, CEO of Poppa Presents

Dom has been a successful entrepreneur in the Jackson Hole area for the last fourteen years.  He has a proven track record of success in hospitality, business ownership, and event promotion and management. Gagliardi began his career after college working for Merrill Lynch on the New York Commodities Exchange before moving to Jackson Hole to pursue his entrepreneurial spirit. In the restaurant and bar industry since 14, he naturally gravitated toward owning his own, and did so at age 27. Through the Village Café, his successful restaurant in Teton Village, and his concert and event experience, he has made a concerted effort to become well connected and have long established relationships throughout local and national concert community.

The Pink Garter project has been in the works for Dom since he took over the booking at the Mangy Moose in 1999. That first year showed clearly what was needed for a successful music venue in the Jackson Hole valley; a similar size venue as the Moose, but located downtown Jackson Hole. Since this realization it has been Dom’s goal to build what is necessary to make this a reality. He became owner of the Jackson Hole Playhouse in 2007 and recently gave up his interest there to pursue the Pink Garter adn start a new company, Teton Entertainment Group.  Building relationships with the customer and delivering what they desire has been his first priority.

Leftover Salmon

Leftover Salmon is excited to announce the dates for their 2012 On The Road Again winter tour.  The multi-date tour will find the band performing through the Rocky Mountain region and marks the band’s lengthiest tour since spring 2004. The On The Road Again tour begins February 28th and continues through March 12th.

The sound of Colorado’s legendary Leftover Salmon is unmistakable: fluid, loose-limbed, and simultaneously rootsy and daring. Fusing an unrivaled improvisational fervor to a dizzying combination of bluegrass, Cajun, funk, Southern rock, boogie, Caribbean, Latin, and jazz influences, Leftover Salmon has earned a legion of diehard fans, critical accolades, and a reputation as one of the most exciting, engaging concert experiences to ever hit the road.

The origins of Leftover Salmon are as intriguing as their name. The group was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1989, as the result of a merger between Vince Herman (from Cajun/Calypso/Jugband The Salmonheads) and Drew Emmitt (of progressive bluegrass Left Hand String Band.)

Leftover Salmon is back to their classic 5 piece lineup featuring:  Vince Herman (Guitar/Vocals), Drew Emmitt (Multi Instrumentalist/ Vocals), Greg Garrison (Bass/Vocals), Andy Thorn (Banjo/Vocals), Jose Martinez (Drums).

The band has recently recorded it’s first album in over 8 years with producer Steve Berlin (Los Lobos). The album will be released this year. Leftover Salmon will also hit the road this year with some full length tours.

“We’re really fired up to get back on the road and turn up the slamgrass” says Vince Herman.

Throughout the course of 22 years, Leftover Salmon has performed music with such contemporaries as Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, David Grisman, Jerry Douglas, Del McCoury, Peter Rowan, Pete Wernick, Col. Bruce Hampton, Oteil Burbridge, Bill Payne, Darol Anger, Mike Marshall, Pete Sears, Todd Park Mohr, Tony Furtado, Theresa Anderson, along with members of The String Cheese Incident, Phish, Widespread Panic, Yonder Mountain String Band, Railroad Earth, Little Feat and dozens of additional artists.

The band continues to break new ground with its highly energetic live performances and initiate new fans with each show.

Young Dubliners

Keith Roberts pokes his usual cheeky fun as he looks back on seven albums and thousands of blistering U.S. and European performances since he and his buddies debuted their feisty brand of Irish rock at The Irish Rover pub in Santa Monica, California in 1988.

“Had I known then that wed have such longevity and would still be out there doing 180 to 250 shows a year I probably would have come up with a different name”, says lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist. “When people say were no longer so young, I reply, well, the Fine Young Cannibals never ate anyone!” (Original band member) “Paul OToole and I were two young lads from Dublin who had moved to L.A., so the name was given to us by early fans and it made sense at the time. The cool thing is, weve stayed young at heart, doing our best to grow into the name rather than let the name grow out of us”.

Musing about the band’s sound, Roberts sums up the Young Dubliner’s approach to their music, be it Celtic, Irish, or just plain rock. “I like to think that our take on songwriting and performance makes the Young Dubliner’s sound unique and original. Our band is made up of Irish and American natives who draw influences from just about everywhere. Our strength is in the sum of our parts. We play as a band, as one.”

This band has been rocking Jackson for years and now at the Pink Garter!
